Steel Screw Piles

We supply and install fully engineered steel screw piles with custom connection details to suit a wide range of structural applications. Our pile systems are designed for integration with concrete slabs, pile caps, and direct-to-steel connections.

All piles are locally manufactured to comply with Australian Standards for structural welding (AS/NZS 1554). This ensures quality control, consistency, and durability in Australian conditions. We use a variety of screw pile sizes and drive motors to match project specific load requirements — including heavy duty applications of up to 1000kN.

Concrete pile cap construction

Our team can design and construct reinforced concrete pile caps, ideal for projects requiring multiple screw piles to support heavy loads or columns —particularly where site access is restricted, and only smaller piles can be installed. Pile caps are either cast in-situ using traditional formwork or formed directly in the ground, depending on access and engineering needs. These provide structural continuity and load distribution across multiple piles.

Concrete BORED
PILING

We design and construct concrete bored piles using advanced engineering software and hands-on experience. Bored piling is suitable for a range of soil conditions and structural demands, offering a high load-bearing solution with minimal vibration and ground disturbance.

Our equipment allows for the construction of various pile diameters and depths, tailored to suit geotechnical and design specifications. This methodis often chosen for urban projects or when ground conditions are challenging.

static load PILE testing

To ensure our piling systems meet both design and geotechnical requirements, we carry out static load testing across as many installed piles as feasible. We offer load testing capacities ranging from 200kN to 2400kN, utilising both our 3-beam arrangement and simpler setups using a single beam and triple pile reaction.

All testing is performed with calibrated hydraulic gauges, load cells, and displacement gauges, providing accurate, real-time performance data for structural engineers and stakeholders.

retention PILes

We offer retention systems suitable for most single-basementapplications or excavation works near existing structures. Our systems typically incorporate steel screw piles with timber or steel plate lagging to effectively retain soil and prevent collapse during excavation.

For sensitive environments, ground anchors can also be introduced to reduce wall deflection and improve system stability. Every retention design is tailored to the soil conditions, depth of excavation and surrounding structure requirements.

Our slope stabilisation solutions involve using steel screw piles or bored piles to reinforce areas of unstable or sloping terrain. These systems are designed to prevent soil movement and add lateral support, especially in areas affected by erosion or excavation.

In most cases, piles are driven or drilled below the soft or unstable layers to reach competent ground. A structural footing or capping beam is then cast over the installed piles to create a linked retaining system with improved lateral strength and load distribution.

(Lateral & Uplift) 

We conduct specialised lateral and uplift (pull-out/pull-over) testing for solar farm infrastructure. Our services support solar farm developers and engineers in validating the performance of post systems under real-world conditions.

All load testing is fully instrumented to capture detailed data on load vs. deflection behaviour, providing valuable insights for designers and certifiers.We’ve successfully carried out testing and installation trials across New South Wales and Queensland, including projects from West Wyalong to Townsville.
